Have a win2K RRAS server in a mixed mode NT 4.0 domain
NT DOmain Controller.
dialing up with NT Workstation client, the system tries to authenticate domain_name\user_name instead of just user_name
dialing from MAC and W2K PRO authenticate correctly.
the authentication mechinism is a NT RADIUS server looking for the user name only.
the HELP! says there are 4 databases that can be used to authenticate, local, NT 4.0 domain, etc.etc.. but doesn't say haw to change select.
any ideas how when I dial up from a NT box, to the w2k RRAS server I can configure not to pass the domain name to the NT RADIUS Server ? thanks.
