When I try to login from a windows 2000 server i am presented with this error "rpc server is unavailable". The server is acting solely as a VPN server with no AD installed, etc. The event logs are 5788 & 5789, and I've been to microspft.com and and seen what they about it (ie q258503 and q257734) and i still get the error message.
I can only login to the machine as a local user but i need it as part of the domain. How can I stop this irritating error message??
