RPC server not found, and printer problem

Ok, I have more info on a previously posted problem entitled "printer subsystem error". When I rboot and let 2000 find the new hardware, I can point the wizzard to the driver just fine and it tries to intall. However, it then gives an error saying RPC server not found. ??? Very strange. How can I reinstall just the printer serverices on Win 2000?
