RPC error...

BU server Solaris 8, NW 6.1.2

Last little while we seem to encounter numerous bu failurs - mostly NT servers - and msg are 'RPC error unable to send'. Thanks in advance.

The cause of the problem can be anything that is somehow "network related" - but most likely it points to a name resolution problem.

The IP address and DNS have not change, next day some of these servers will be backed up fine and some others will fail.

Something obviously has changed with respect to the previous running environment. As i don't have access to your system, i can not be more specific.
