I'm converting a vb prog whicj uses RDO to ADO. How do i get the rows affectedby an update command.

Public g_dbConn As ADODB.Connection
...

...
...
g_dbConn.Execute("UPDATE xxx SET .....")

in case anyone's interested what I did was

Dim recsaffected as int

g_dbConn.Execute("UPDATE xxx SET .....", recsaffected)

msgbox(recsaffected & " Records updated")
