Routing Voice Mail

Hi Friends,

We have 20 agents call center , till todya the call center was 24 HRS , from 2008 JAN they work only from 7am to 4PM, now we need to route all the calls after 4 PM to Voicemail for leave a message for callers,
Is this can be acived, we have S8500/G650 Rel 4.0

Pls advice



 
This can be done easily. Use the command "add coverage time-of-day 1", on that screen fill in the cover path for voicemail on the days and times that you want that coverage. Then on the station screens put t1 as the coverage path 1 entry.
 
You can also accomplish this via a goto step in your vector. If you are looking to just send all calls to a generic voice mail box, then you can add a time of day step to route calls to your messaging skill. You will need to add the group voice mail extension to someones phone to check them. Just another option. For example:

01 goto step 12 if time-of-day is all 16:00 to all 07:00
02 goto step 12 if time-of-day is fri 16:00 to mon 07:00
03 announcement xxxx



12 messaging skill x for extension active
13 stop
