I have 2 sites using centralized attendant service. Currently the operator at the primary attendant activates attendant night service and sends calls for both sites to an external alert (TAAS) at the primary site (Definty G3V8 -both sites).
I would like to route the night service to a central auto-attendant in the voicemail. Can I simply remove the TAAS port on the console parameters form and insert a night service destination in the "night service act. ext" field to make this happen? Or will I need to rethink this setup.
Thanks

Usually the destination for 'night service' is from the 'listed directory' 'night service destination' or the 'night' destination on the trunk form. The Night Service ACt, Ext.' only indicates a station that can activate night service.
Night Service Act. Ext.
This is a display-only field. It contains the extension of the current night service
activation station, if any. Such a station is administered by assigning it a
"night-serv" button.
