Hi,

This is probably a very easy question but i'm new to Avaya so have no idea!

Up to now we have all our phones connected through LAN1 on a 192.168.195.x (0/22) network (g/w 192.253).
Due to expansion I want to move some phones to a new network on LAN2, say 10.100.100.x.
I tested this over the weekend and I could call phones on the opposite network but we couldn,t hear each other!
What have I missed?

Untick direct media path, the original handsets will be sending traffic through their gateway address and obviously that's not correct :)

gateway 192.168.192.253 is not in the 192.168.195.0/22 network! Typo?

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

On both networks use IP Office as the gateway for the IP Phones, IP Office will do the routing between both LANs without adding any route.

Thanks amriddle01, that worked a treat. Is there a way to untick this option in bulk? Will take ages to have to do this for every extension!
