Hi Folks,

I have just got a new Windows Server 2003 server and am currently configuring it. I have just set up Routing and Remote Access to allow VPN connections. However, no my server is have network problems. I can't ping anything or get to the web. If I stop the Routing and Remote Access everything is fine but once I start it I lose network connectivity. Can anyone tell me why this might be??

Thanks

Honestly? Disable and restart / re-configure the RRAS service from scratch. It doesn't take very long to do and will probably be a lot quicker than trying to find the one little setting that is incorrect.

Steve.

Thanks Steve,

Turned out to be security on the network interface used.

Mighty,

I'm dealing with what may be a similar issue. What kind of security did you run into on the network interface?
