After installing Microsofts security updates (yes I know that was probably my first mistake), it seems that our RAS settings have gone to pot.
The "Routing and RemoteAccess" service is not running. When I try and start it manually, I get an error message saying "...internal error...". The corresponding Event Log entry reads as follows...
Service Control Manager Event ID 7024
"The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with service-specific error 505."
I have found similar 7024 posting in this forum, but they all refer to the messaging service. Microsoft's KB returns nothing on the 505 error.
Anyone got any thoughts?
