I am trying to set up a VPN connection but I don't believe I have the right IP Address.
I want to make a VPN through two routers. I have to go through the routers to get to the networks. The routers do not have a static IP address but the servers behind them do. I am a novice about this but I believe the servers IP address are part of the subnet mask? One server is NT and the other is W2K. Is that a problem?
Do I need routers capable of VPN or VPN routers? What must each server have in order for them to connect through the routers?
I have been searching the internet for a week to have these questions answered. So thank you if you answer this thread.
