Hello, I have a 2501 routing from our corp location to 2 remote sites via t1. I am in the process of implimenting a web server / three tiered app. This will consist of a 2621 and 2 pix 515's the layout is as follows
Internet -> 2621 -> PIX 1 & 2 (off each eth int) -> pix1 -> dmz1 and pix2 -> dmz2 and corp (3 int's)
Now my question is while setting up and testing this app I want the ability to take up and down routers as need be. Originally I thought I would replace the 2501 and do ALL routing (internet and 2 remote sites) on the new 2621. Now I am thinking of putting a router in front of that to decide whether to go to internet or remote sites that way if the internet peice goes down I will still have the branches up. My prob runs into the placement of the FW's. Does this sound like to much trouble ??? thanks
