rout finder i m in transport company clipper

hi,

i want to make a program in clipper/ i have a data base given information of main rout. of all over the country.

main rout information is available. but sub station rout information to ber find out on behalf of main rout. any tips help will be higly appritiated

Please don't start new development on any program targetted for DOS. Use at least some libs to make it a Windows or Linux GUI program (Harbour?, FiveWin?), or else use any other language that's at least GUI aware.
We're in GUI-age now, not in stone-age any longer ;-)

thnx for sugesstation, but it did't help me any how, now tell me if have this data in ms-access. how should i go for that, crystal report in vb-6.0 or what?

hi alok,

you can write a program in clipper, dos isnt dead it is still apart of windows in the background. i think i can help you with your problem but i need to see your database structure and exacly what fields that you are talking about.

Ever read the 'support' M$ doesn't give on the command.com/cmd.exe of Windows versions released after Win-ME? (W2K, WXP) ??? s-)
That (c/w/sh)ould cure you eagerness for DOS apps :-(

I quit DOS development about 5 years ago after being a Clipper dev. for many years. Don't want to swim upstream just to keep Clipping ;-)
