Hi,

I'm wondering whether it is possible to change the corners of the images to rounded corner.

Thanks

hiya, not sure if this is a long winded way to do it but its how i would go about it:

Open your image. Press Q to enter quick mask mode. Now make a small circle selection (imagine a quarter of the circle being the rounded corner on your picture to decide the size). Move this selection right up to one corner of your picture so two of its sides touch the edges of the image. Now select black and fill this selection with the paint bucket. It should tint red. Use the arrow keys to move the circle and repeat this on every corner. You should have four red circles at each corner of your image.
Now press Q again to exit quick mask mode. You should be able to see your circles as selections on your image. now simply use the eraser to delete the bits right in the corners or paint them whatever colour you want. Et voila.

Hope this helps, any probs gimme a shout ;-) Nick Price

There's another way to approach this with a little less room for error...

Go to your channels list and create a new channel. Make a rectangular selection and fill it with white. Deselect. Now go up to the filters menu and select Blur->Gaussian Blur. Adjust the blur until you see faded round corners of the desired size. Now go up to your Image menu and select Adjust->Levels. Underneath the histogram, pull the arrows at the extreme right and left toward the center. You'll notice on the image that the rounded corners and edges get a brighter white tone. Adjust the arrows until the bright white reaches the edges but doesn't look aliased (jagged).

Once you've finished your new channel, Ctrl-Click the channel on the list to select it. Go back to your layers list and click on the layer you wish to modify. Underneath the Select menu, Transform the selection and resize to the desired dimensions and type Ctrl-Shift-I to invert the selection, then hit delete to remove the contents and you've got yourself a rounded image.

Hope this helps,
