How do I make php round to x,0 or x,5?

I don't believe there is a builtin function that will do it.

Try this:

$bar = intval(($foo * 2) + .5)/2;
print $bar;

Actually, there's an even easier way than that. ceil() with round it up, floor() will round it down. Just pass it your value, it'll return your rounded integer.
