I just switched from Freehand to Illustrator. When drawing a rectangle you can created rounded corners while you're making the rectangle.

Once you have created it however, is there a way to adjust the rounded corners. Freehand allowed for adjustments of any or all of the 4 corners even after the rectangle was created.

Also wondering why there is no Chamfer tool.

Thanks..

Hi Tak,

One way to change the corner radius after the fact is to use the "convert to shape function under EFFECTS. You can specify the radius there. I'm not sure how you'd do one corner and not the others, but there may be a way. Hope that helps.

Thanks... That works... I haven't upgraded to CS4 yet but I am hoping they bring over some of Freehand's functionality... like each corner having separate controls

Thanks again.
