In Site Map I get a warning,: selected folder does not contain current sites home page. site map can not be built.
I dont know why I get that error. The index.html page is there along with the rest of the pages. My local link is:C:\My Documents\ART\Dreamweaver Projects\Products of VirginiaEven though I have my index.html page in that folder, It will not show up for me to select.
Would you know why Dreamweaver wont recognize my files to make the site map?

PS: All the dreamweaver page icons have aol icons and when I double click on them they open in a version of aol; however, when I open them from within Dreamweaver, they open and edit fine.

Any help would be great!
Fredrik

I'm pretty sure that dreamweaver wants you to have a root folder right on your c drive. Meaning the folder for it would be something more like.. c:\website\images etc. It gets mad I think when it has to look that hard. :)

I think I found it. Inside the "define sites" > "Edit" > "site map layout" there is a place to define the home page. This is the ticket.
Thanks katiekat.
