Dear All :
How can I manage that the Root user can telnet on my Linux Redhat Server ?

I can telnet on the system using regular user , but with Root , I can't !

Any idea ?

Try a keyword search in this forum for root telnet - there's plenty of previous threads dealing with this.

I found it :
--> vi /etc/pam.d/login

Then Hash the 1st line which is talking about securetty
auth required /lib/security/pam_securetty.so

to be :
#auth required /lib/security/pam_securetty.so

Then try , and everything will work with the Root User :)
kick off the Security :)
