A problem was brought to my attention in the hotel this morning. I was given a list of 27 rooms (out of 314) where the housekeepers are unable to communicate to the Property Management System (PMS) the current status of the room (dirty, in progress, cleaned, etc).
No changes have been made to the PBX programming that should cause this type of selective ignoring. I've looked through the Meridian PMS Interface Manual and can find nothing to account for this kind of problem. As far as I can see the ability to change room status from the room phone is an all or nothing proposition.
Does anyone have any recommendations of how I can pursue this problem?
Regards,
Harry
