Rollover lines...???

hey all, I'm kind of new to the Nortel world so plaese excuse my ignorance. I have an issue where I have a soft number programmed to ring on a TN, now if this number is busy, my needs it to rollover, I thought I had it sussed but i 'm still getting busy when the 1st line is busy and it's going to voicemail..

4870 is the soft number, and 6 & 7 are the rollovers, LHK is 7, what am I doing wrong here?..

2870 is not marped on that set, and the hunt on that set as well as the fdn needs to be voice mail.. rollover is a honeymoon thing and not defined in nortel ntps.. two things to remember, your looking for hunt of forward no answer, and the cls needs to be part of the post. thanks

Thanks for the reply..reagrding the MARP, I have 5 other extensions set up identically and the MARP exists on 1 of the others...I have the fdn and hunt pointing to my voicemail system, regarding the CLS, what should I be looking for?

hta fna and sfa.. if the marped set has those cls marks then the phone should forward no answer or hunt to mail if hunt and fdn are set to mail.. if not check to make sure marp is turned on in your switch, i've caught it off several times at new sites

I'm no expert but moving key 5 csd to a key higher than 7 may help. Sometimes those keys get in the way of hunt or fdn. Just a guess if the other suggestions don't work.

i've seen that happen and it is worth a try, build all your scr mcr type keys without a feature key breaking the chain.. you can build two hunt groups on a phone that way
