rollover / hotspot help

Hi everyone,

I'm new to dreamweaver, and though I'm getting on ok on the whole, one thing I'm trying to do has really got me puzzled. If anyone could help I'd be really greatful.

I wold like to make a rollover link within a large background image (created in illstrator). Sort of like a hotspot, but I want the hotspot map area to change appearance when rolled over. Can anyone please help with this?

image change appearance hmmmmmm either its an animated gif (that cant be triggered by a mouseover) or you swap the image. select the hotspot and then behaviours>Swap image dont think this will work with a page bg image though

Slice the original image and then swap the appropriate bit?
