Does a Role override object Level Permission?

If I issue a db_denywriter and db_denyreader on on a user but also gave object level permission to a user to SELECT particular table on the database, who overrides who?

I bet the the db_denywriter and db_denyreader overrides the object level permission...but I want to have a second opinion.

Your correct db_denywriter and db_denyreader do override object level permissions
