I did a robocopy to copy directories/files from one server to another. After the copy, I noticed that the read-only attribute was grayed out & checked on the new server. So, I unchecked it, clicked apply and let it process. It was then clear. So, I go back in a few minutes later and it's grayed & checked again. I tried the dos command attrib -R, but again, it's grayed & checked again.
I do a dir * /s /aR for any read only files, but none appear. Is this just a flaw with Robocopy? Or is this something I should be worried about? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Debi
