Roaming profile.

I get the error every now and then about roaming profile not avaiable.
What we have done in the past is log into the server that user was last on and delete the local folder in documents and settings. That has always worked in the past.

Now, when I try to delete that folder, I get:

Cannot delete UsrClass. There has been a sharing violation.

What do I need to kill to be able to delete that folder?

If you are running win2k server, there is an issue about roaming profiles not unloading properly.
Get the UPHClean utility provided by microsoft.
This will close any handles that are left open when a user logs out. If the handles are open, you will not be able to delete the folder until you reboot the server.

Simple install and it runs as a service.

I didn't know MS created the UPHClean Service(?) ... I use it and it is AWESOME!!! I was under the impression that it was made by some random person??? Who ever made it... THUMBS UP TO THEM!!!!

I think it's by Microsoft.
I know I got the link from Microsoft but bran2235 might be right. Either way...it works =)
