I will be joining a company, within the next few months, that use RMS files as their main Database system (bit behind the times if you ask me).
I would like to have a facility/setup on my home PC that allows me to create these files - I know the company im about to join creates these files via a program called SmarTerm using DTR.
Can anyone tell me what i would need and where i can get it (for free hopefully) to enable me to create and use these files at home?
I have a number of PCs with a mixture of Operating Systems such as Win 98/2000/ME and XP Pro.
Also I will be connecting to the RMS files From Visual Basic Applications via Attunity connect using ADO.
Summary:
I want to be able to create an RMS file to store records.
I want to access/add/update/delete those records via Visual Basic/ADO.
Can anyone help?
