I was told that Telephone Manager goes away. You just use Element Manager. Does anyone know if this is true? Also does anyone know if you can still use the terminal?
TM is gone and no longer compatible, the Phones / station fast sync of EM is supposed to be a bit more feature-full... Of course, there's no CDR package... Anyone know what Avaya uses for CDR? I haven't touched an "Avaya" since 2000 when we had an ancient Lucent Definite G2
I've also been told that EM at release 6 has a useful drop down box that does all the phone programming in the same way that good old OTM worked in that you can see a picture of a digital phone and edit the keys and other functions etc.
All the best

Aah, yes, eCAS; back in the day when I used it, it was just "CAS". Real creative naming scheme.
@firebird - yes, EM on Linux for 5.0 and above has a phones section, as does ECM; then in 6.0 they dumped ECM in favor of integrating it with UCM, and all EM is now Linux. So we have a lovely Phones section. It's not bad; not quite TM standards but pretty good. I always hated TM anyway.
Does anyone know if TBS will work with R7.0? or are we stuck w/ 3rd-party CDR and traffic apps for R7?
