We're running an old 16 bit application called R-Base on a new w2k dc. We had to jump through hoops to make it work, but we do. Here's the problam. When I add new users to the group of R_Base_Users, and then give them FULL privelages in the folder where the application works, the new users don't have rites to use the program. Done all the usual, log off, then on to get the new rites, replicated the 2 dc's, nothing works. Several users can use this, while the new users can't. All they are doing is clicking on a shortcut to a batch file that runs on a mapped drive to \\servername\foldername and the multiple apps are folders inside. Allow inheritables is unchecked so we have security on it. Ideas? Thanks. Glen A. Johnson
