RIS Problem

Basically, the client boots from a RIS boot disk and the NIC is PXE comaptible.

This is what happens..

NODE: (node address)
DHCP: ....
TFTP.
File transfer error file not found.
Error: No reply from a TFTP server.
Press any key to reboot syetem.


Any info?
 
I suggest checking a couple of things, first make sure the you have "Boot Server Hostname" set in your DHCP option and Second verify that "Trivial FTP Daemon" and "Boot Information Negotiation Layer" service are both running on your ris server.
