I've used riprep to create an image of a client installation.

I'm now trying to restore this image to a number of clients. I get as far as selecting the image i want to install, I then get the following error:

"Setup could not determine the type of computer you have, or you have chosen to manually specify the computer type. Select the computer type from the following list..."

The list only has other - when I select this I get the error "File txtsetup.oem caused an unexpected error (21) at line 1742 in d:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c"

Could this be a problem with the NIC drivers? I previously had a problem with the NIC drivers and had to follow KB article 315074 to solve it.

Any ideas?!

I had a similar problem and solved this by copying the driver files to the i386 directory. This ensured a remote install. The network drivers are not installed on the client install and I have reached the conclusion that no files are being copied from the server to the client.
