We are about to start testing 2003 RIS but have received conflicting advice so i wondered if anyone can clear this up.

I was told by one person that the RIS images had to be on a seperate hard drive and by another person that a seperate partition from the system drive will be ok.

We have a member server with one HD in that is partitioned as C: and D:, will we be able to store the images on the D: partition?

Thanks.

Store the RIS images on a different partion to the system. You would need to do this just in case the images filled the disk.
After that it can be separate hard drive or partition or whatever you like.

OK so i can just place all the images in a folder on the D: drive Is that correct?

Cheers
