I have been asked to have our QC department (2 people) phones ring at each others extensions at the same time. One is a digital DID line (3903) and the other is an analog (L500)

is this possible? or would I have to change the analog to a digital? if it is possible could somone please help me figure out the commands to accomplish this?

Thank you in advance

G

First out the 500 set and then in
LD 20
REQ: CPY 1
Type 26xx
CFTN:Tn of the digital phone
tn :new digital tn of the previous 500 set
dn :something fake

Then go into LD 20 again and change the key 0 and 1 to the same as the origianl digital extension and have a personal extension like on key 8 and 9.

It is possible to have MCR on a digital and analog set. The digital set has to be programmed first so if the analog is already built you'll have to out it. Make the key on the digital set MCR then build the analog set as usual.

Do not know for sure ,but you may end up getting a SCh for mix set type. But you can surely have MCr for 2 digital sets.

If you had 2 digital set's, they could each have there own Extn number and a MCR KEY with a DN that would ring on both phones and either could answer and this way they could still have there own private DN that is different from the MCR DN.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

You CAN have a multiple call arrangement with digital/IP and analog sets. Program the digital/IP set first with a MCR/MCN key. Then program the analog set with the same DN and with CLS=MCRA (Multiple Call Arrangement Allowed).
