Looking for some ideas on the following, we are running 7.1 and all extn's are PRG's which are twinned with Mobiles.
We wish to create a Ring Group for the main number with all users in, The reason for it being a ring group are that we want to run reports from the CCM.
When a call comes in to the ring group it rings to all devices including mobiles that are twinned, What we really want to do is stop the Mobiles from ringing on group calls only as when users are out and about they cant handle Main number calls efficiently but do still want to receive their DDI calls.
All suggestions welcome.

You can program a Multicall key on the phones (up to 32 of each appearance)

Then make ring group with multicall keys in it.

There is a limit for the number of phones that can ring simultaneously. you might want to look that up if your over 100

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

For Business Reporter on CCM to be able to be reported on Ring Groups, the users DN must be in the Ring Group.

The Multicall key in the Ring Group does not generate a Stat for the Ring Group

And if there are no real members there is no stat for the ring group at all , MiCc flags it as being unable to be reported on.

the only option is for them to use group presence to take themselves out of the ring group if they dont want ring group calls when they are set to twin.

I think the next Micollab version is supposed to introduce group prescence fromt he clinet - perhaps there will be a method to set a dynamic status that says twin but no ring group

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

and due to an endless stream of MiCollab , MiCC issues
Life would be simpler If only they tested products properly before releasing them .....
