Hi

I've retired to rural Spain to run a small guesthouse. I have a refurbished LDK20 with 2 analogue lines, all is running OK except I can't seem to get inbound calls to ring. We have to use a VOIP adapter but that works fine on standalone phones, and I did manage to get the PBX ringing once, just can't fathom out the rather unhelpful programming manual.

If anyone can spare the time to take me through what I believe is the CO ring assignments I'd be most grateful.

The VOIP adaptor is throwing me a bit, but, the following is how to make incoming calls ring on analogue lines.

Trans/Pgm
*
#
Trans/Pgm
144
01
08
Press Flex Key 1
Dial first extension number
Dial last extension number
Press 'Zero'
Press Hold/Save
Press Speaker

This will make lines 1 to 8 ring. It maybe that your line 1 and 2 is actually connected to 5 and 6 on the system hence why the above is lines 1 to 8.

This will also make all extensions ring. You can change it so that you only make the reception and say office ring. Instead of putting in the last extension number just do the range of extensions you wish to ring.

The above is basic and should get you some incoming calls! It's a start.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

Thanks for your helpful reply. I had already managed to figure those stages out from the manual but for some reason the phones still don't ring on incoming calls. At one point they did which is so annoying, I am suspicious of the VOIP adapter but that has worked so assume it's a setting I have managed to change without realising it.

Am going to try and get a copy of the PCADMIN as that looks easier to use than doing everything via the handset.
