Right now, our site does not have a shopping cart but I plan on implementing one. Do we need to have session variables such as CFID and CFToken and if so, why? I've read up on the subject but its not to clear.

I know they have to be enabled in the applicatio.cfm file but how do I get that to work?

Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck with these. Session managment is great, but it is important to understand it's limitations :)
 
The first thing I want to know is, Is it custom built, or pre-packaged. Either way, sessions or cookies will be passed.
