I've wrestled with this for awhile... And I'm hoping a better answer exists than get a new printer driver or a new operating system.

We are using Crystal 9, the rdc, and vc++ to display reports on screen... no problem. We can export to PDF, no problem. However, there are certain clients where the right aligment goes out the window when you print. Every field that should be flush right, actually ends up left justified, starting where the record should have ended.

Example.

ACCOUNT TOTAL
Cash $123,192.00
AR $12,212.00
AP $12.22

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated... even if it's just to confirm that I'm out of luck.

Thanks,

David

We actually have this report in too many offices to build the report for each specific printer driver. If we have to we can test a few and label certain printers as "compatible"...

We seem to have more trouble with Lexmark printers and the multifunction printers, but we have a few cases of HP deskjets and IBM's as well.

Thanks for the advice, though. Maybe we can't get there from here.
