Hello,

I installed Vista business as an upgrade on my notebook PC.

When I right click on a file to copy, paste, move, delete, etc. it takes a good 15 seconds before the drop down menu appears.

Maybe doing an upgrade was my first mistake, but the computer was an "almost" clean install of XP Pro. It had Office 2003, Diskeeper 2007 and NOD32 on it. I also upgraded Office to 2007 the same day I installed Vista.

The Notebook is very fast otherwise with a 2GHz Core 2 CPU, 2 gigs of RAM.

I am connected on a peer network with DHCP from the router. Browsing the network is quick, but right clicking on a network file is slow also.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks.

Jeff
