Whenever I try to load an app, in this case Groupwise, I am getting
the error "The procedure point Richedit10AnsiWndProc could not
be located in the dynamic link library RICHED20.dll". If I click okay
the app will load, but whenever I try to open an email inside it, I
then get a MicroSoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error and the
app dies? Help, I do not what to have to re-intsall NT 4.0, does
anyone have any experience on how to fix this, other than starting
from scratch?

Sounds like you have installed software that has replaced the DLL file with another version that does not have the correct functions in it.

Pretty obvious I know, but have you tried:-

1. Searching around your hard disk for other versions of file.
2. Restoring the file from a backup of the system from before the problem started.
3. Getting RICHED20.DLL off another computer running NT 4.0

I know the file is one that is upgraded when you put Service Packs on (in Window 2000 at least), so if you have just installed a Service Pack & you told it to backup files, you can find it in C:\WINNT\$NtServicePackUninstall$

Or maybe if get latest Service Pack from Microsoft (Service Pack 6a I think) & apply it !

Failing that re-install Groupwise & if that does not work re-install entire system.

Happy Hunting !!!
