Has anyone used the rich textbox control (Microsoft Rich Textbox Control 6.0 (sp4), RICHTX32.OCX) in Access 2003?
I was having problems with it when trying to open a database written in 2000. I ended up trying to put a rich text box into a new database & received the error "Microsoft Office Access doesn't support this ActiveX control"

Anyone know of any fixes or alternatives? (preferably fixes, as I still need to support users using 2000)

Haven't tried this exactly, but one thing comes to mind: is the db you are opening still in A2k? If yes, u can't use it. A2k doesn't support it, unless I'm mistaken - which I might be. I would look at the version differences tho as originating the problem. It may be the library you have installed fighting with the version requirements.
