Rich Text Shows Formatting Text

If the rich text box is blank, then the formatting characters show in the report. If there is any actual text in it, they do not.

This occurs on my client's XP PC, but does not happen on my Windows 98 PC.

Anyone have any ideas?

I am using CR 9 in VB6.
