Hi All,

I am reading the book 'Object Oriented Perl' by Damien Conway at the moment. It is a really good book and I would recommend it to more advanced perl programmers looking to increase their understanding of OO perl (modules and stuff). It is a really good read and is actually quite amusing in parts. It takes you pretty smoothly through a refresher of some perl basics into the modules/OO bit. It has improved my basic perl no end as well as teaching me some pretty useful tricks I didn't know before. It is published by Manning, ISBN 1-884777-79-1 and is about $43.

I really recommend it :)

i completely agree. we took an existing application at work, and converted it into a series of classes. the lead programmer said read this book. boy did it help out. there are so many things in it. a highly recommended read in my opinion too.
