Reverse lookup does not work from Internet

Hello:

Within company network, we can reverse lookup ip addresses from a particular zone. However, the same ip does not resolve to its name if I issue nslookup ip-address from out off company's network, such as from home without VPN. The error is "DNS time out". I extend the timeout to a much longer time, does not help.

Consider you can't access those zones externally if they are apart of your companies intranet.
