When reverse-engineering from a DB/2 OS/390 v6 database using PowerDesigner 9.0 the database catalog tables are not recognized as such. Where would I either get a correct resource file or how would I update the current resource file to correct this problem. JWFox

Hello.

2 Questions.

Do you know get the same problem both via ODBC and script?

Do you know the correct ddl for the catalog tables?

I am not familiar with Os/390 ,are the catalog tables the same as Systables in Sybase?

Regards

Jay

I think my problem has to do with the ODBC driver that I am using. I had been using the ODBC driver that comes with the IBM DB/2 client. I am currently in the process of trying to get the MERANT 3.70 ODBC driver to work. And, no, as usual the IBM catalog structure is different than the Sybase catalog structure. Thanks for the reply!
