hi i have a result page
when i click on edit (to edit the record) and click than update the record I want to return to the result page again where i left before I click on edit.

can someone give some hints
gr. Kisoen

when you use the Update Record behaviour your have the option to select what page your user is directed to. If you need to pass some value to let the results page know what to load then a bit of hand coding will be required. Without knowing the structure of your results page and what it selects on I cant say exactly what will need to be added.

You can click on the Update Record Behaviour and set the page you need to be directed to. However you may need to pass some values to get the results page to load the correct data. This will require some handcoding.

please advise what kind of handscoding I can use.

As my first post said without seeing your results page and your update page it would be impossible to say

Basically whatever you pass the results page to only load the records you wish needs to passed to from the update page. The easiest way to do this is to attach it to the end of the url and then select on this.

Example instead of redirecting to "results.asp" use "results.asp?selection=whatever" then on your results page just check to see if the querystring contains the selection
