Hi,

I am getting Return code 8 error while installing kernal patch upgrade from 108528-11 to 108528-13 on Solaris 8. Can any one help, what is the possible case. I have upgraded 5 servers, but I did't get any errors. I am getting only one server.

Patch error 8 means -
Attempting to patch a package that is not installed

However, I find it hard to see why you would get this with a kernel patch.
