Is there a way to set up Outlook so that it can get my e-mail from my free yahoo e-mail account? i.e. what would i put in for the yahoo server settings (pop3 smtp)????????

Retrieving Yahoo E-mail!

Not directly with the free yahoo service. If you don't mind using 3rd party tools, have a look at YPOPS
I agree with smah, Yahoo only provide POP3 access if you pay for it. The free account does not have this facility. You might want to consider Yahoo Mail Plus - as it only costs $20 a year if you are not a fan of 3rd party tools.
