Once they call in and get the auto attd. (main greeting) instruct them to press "9" followed by their mailbox number. If they have a security code (all mailboxes should to prevent hacking) have them enter that next. At that point the voice mail will say either "you have XX new messages would you like to hear them" (press "1" to listen to the message) or "you have no new messages, etc." If the voice mail is notifing them they have messages (calling their cell phone, home phone, etc.) when they answer the call the voice mail will say "This is the voice mail calling with a message for John Jones (as an example) please enter your personal ID now". At that time they do the same procedure I just mentioned above, 9 + mailbox + security code and proceed from there.
