Retrieve system information

Hi All,

Is it possible to retrieve information about the PC(such as Modem, Disk Space, Software installed etc) using SQL server?
I need to collect and analyse the information from many PCs (MSDE has installed on each of them). We have try to run "msinfo32" and then save it to text file, but it is not possible to put this information into the table.
Please, any ideas how we can do it more efficient.
