Hello,

this is probably something easy but i could not find it in the forum.

I want to create a simple MDB file that shows the filename of this MDB file on a form.

So, if the file is called dummy.mdb it should show on the form:

Filename: DUMMY.MDB

It would also be nice if it could show the full UNC path to this file. Like this

Path: \\server\dir\filename.mdb

Suggestions?

Versions 2000+
[tt]currentproject.path ' only the path
currentproject.fullname ' path and name
currentproject.name ' name of the db[/tt]

Prior versions
[tt]currentdb.name ' path and name[/tt]

Only thing is, it does not show the UNC path.

Most of the databases are on a network drive and the mapping is not the same with every user so UNC would be very usefull.

I'm using the currentdb.name (on Access 97)
