Results over fiscal year end

I'm having problems with a formula. I'm working on an income statement where the parameters are entered for fiscal year and fiscal period. I would like to return results for the 12 months prior to the entered period. The report is a cross tab. Any suggestions?

Create a set of formulas to represent the required dates and use these in the selection criteria instead of the paramter fields directly.

E.g.

You have a parameter field called ?StartDate entered as 01/01/2002. To change this into 01/01/2001, create a formula called

@MyStartDate
// Return date one year prior to ?StartDate
Date (year({?StartDate})-1, Month(?StartDate}, Day({StartDate}))
