Results from a search

Help!

I am new to UltraDev and I am having problems creating a search page.

I have created a page called search.html that calls results.asp. No matter what I type in the search.html every record pops up in the results.asp. What am I missing?

Well, you have records appearing in your search page which is super, so the only problem is your syntax for creating the recordset in the search.asp page. Could you post the code for the recordset so that we can have a peek? Derren

I finally got it to work correctly off one search. The problem was in the SQL statment I did not have it referrence the search page text box correctly. However I cannot get the search page to search all of the fields with one search box. I did not know what code to paste, so I have pasted the whole results.asp code.

To search through multiple fields for the same value you need to look for &quot;this OR that&quot;. At the moment the SQL is returning records which match both table fields at the same time, which is quite tight. Try changing the sql to:
